15. Your Personal Information

Pasifika in the Bay Trust respects your privacy and will handle personal information in

accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and applicable New Zealand privacy law.

When you purchase or receive a Festival ticket, PITBT may receive personal information

such as your:

• name;
• email address;
• telephone number;
• ticket type and transaction information;
• information you choose to provide in connection with your booking; and
• communications with PITBT about your attendance.

PITBT will only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for legitimate

Festival or Trust purposes.

16. How We Use Your Information

PITBT may use personal information to:

• administer Festival ticketing and entry;
• communicate important Festival information;
• advise ticket holders of postponement, cancellation or programme changes;
• respond to enquiries;
• manage health, safety or accessibility requirements where relevant;
• prevent or investigate ticket fraud or misuse;
• administer refunds where applicable;
• understand Festival attendance and support Festival planning and reporting; and
• comply with legal obligations.

PITBT will only use personal information for marketing or future promotional communications

where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent. You may unsubscribe from

electronic marketing communications at any time.

17. Flicket and Other Service Providers

PITBT uses Flicket Limited to provide the Festival's online ticketing platform.

Personal information supplied through the Flicket platform may therefore be collected or

processed by Flicket in accordance with Flicket's own privacy policy and terms.

PITBT may also use trusted service providers where reasonably necessary to deliver the

Festival, process transactions, manage communications, maintain information systems or

provide other Festival services.

PITBT will only disclose personal information where there is a lawful purpose for doing so

and in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

18. Protecting Your Information

PITBT will take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse,

unauthorised access, disclosure or modification.

Personal information will only be retained for as long as PITBT reasonably requires it for the

purpose for which it was collected or as required by law.

19. Accessing or Correcting Your Information

You may ask PITBT for access to personal information it holds about you and request

correction of that information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
